How we work

From surplus to shared plates.

Our model is simple: gather good food and support, then get it to the people and places that need it most, with dignity and care.

Gather

We bring together food, funds and goods from generous individuals, growers, retailers and businesses.

Sort

Volunteers check, sort and pack donations so every item is safe, fresh and ready to share.

Share

Food reaches people directly and through local community partners such as schools, shelters and support services.

Connect

Hunger rarely comes alone, so we help people connect with further support when they need it.

Our promise

More than a meal. A fair go.

Food is about more than nutrition. It is about family, culture and belonging. Everything we do is built on a few simple commitments.

  • Dignity first. Everyone is welcomed without judgement.
  • Good food. We focus on fresh, nutritious food, not just whatever is left over.
  • Community-led. We work alongside local organisations who know their neighbourhoods best.
  • Open and accountable. We are transparent about where support comes from and where it goes.
